WELCOME TO LITTLE HUMANS ART CO.
Fostering Creativity & Imagination
We are Little Humans Art Co.
a traveling art studio designed to foster creativity in big & little humans alike.
We offer mobile art classes & live music circles, art workshops & pop-ups. We are available for private events, festivals & celebrations.
Most classes we offer are process-focused, meaning we will focus on the creative process more than the end result. In doing so, we give children the space and freedom to explore, question and create at their own pace and in their own ways, which can be a really beautiful thing! Our students will leave class feeling proud of their work and the process it took to get there.
If you are in the Metro Detroit area, we hope to hear from you soon! We would love to make art with you!
N & A
Little Humans Art Co.
Our classes are a supportive & sensory experience. We provide non-toxic supplies whenever possible and use many recycled and natural materials in our classes. We encourage students to be mindful of materials and waste. We promote respect for our world and others beginning in our own space.
What to wear: We will provide the art smocks, but it is wise to wear clothes you do not mind getting messy in (caregivers too!)
Check out where we are popping up next!
CLASSES + SESSIONS ARE LISTED UNDER EACH LOCATION.
Currently scheduling summer 2021 events! Check back soon for updates!
"Every child is an artist."
WHAT WE BELIEVE
All people are born creative, and their creativity is either nurtured or extinguished.
All kids have a sense of wonder & a strong spirit of imagination. We want to help keep that alive. We believe in providing a safe space for kids to explore and grow and make mistakes. We want to empower our students to take safe risks and gain confidence in who they are & what they can accomplish.
We believe in stepping back as teacher and parent and allowing children to “just be”.
We believe in freedom from doing art the right or wrong way. We offer gentle guidance over strict instruction.
We are Little Humans Art Co., providing the space and encouragement to grow into creative thinkers and mindful citizens.
